The US military has joined an investigation into a plane that crashed in eastern Afghanistan on Monday. Transavia Boeing 737-800 wants to take off on a taxiway, prevented by air traffic control

On 6 September, a Transavia Boeing 737-800 (PH-HSJ) operated flight HV 1041 between Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Chania, Greece. The aircraft taxied in northerly direction on taxiway Charlie to runway 18C at Schiphol when it received take-off clearance for runway 18C.  The crew then drove on taxiway Delta in a southerly direction and commenced the takeoff. Air traffic control noticed this and instructed the crew to stop immediately. Korean Air Chairman Cho Yang-ho Dies After Battle With Illness

The chairman of Korean Air, one of Asia’s biggest airlines, has passed away in the US, the company said. Korean Air said in a statement that Cho Yang-ho, 70, died at a hospital in Los Angeles on 7 April, without providing further details. Due to ongoing political instability and increasing tensions in Venezuela, the U.S. FAA assesses there is an increasing inadvertent risk to U.S. civil aviation operating into, out of, within or over theterritory and airspace of Venezuela at altitudes below Flight Level (FL) 260. As a result, on 22 February 2019, the FAA published Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) KICZ A0001/19, advising U.S. civilaviation to exercise caution during flight operations into, out of, within or over the territory and airspace of Venezuela at altitudes below FL260.

A bird was found on board business class of Singapore Airlines A380 during 14-hour flight to London

Business-class passengers found themselves greeted by the avian stowaway about 12 hours into the flight. A typical Singapore-London flight takes about 14 hours.
